Robert Hadley is a graduate of Sound Master School Of Engineering
in Los Angeles.
He has been with The Mastering Lab since 1993. In that time
he has worked with such artists as Pink Floyd, Ray Charles,
Joe Cocker, Stevie Nicks, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Herb Alpert,
Natalie Cole, Barry Manilow, Electric Light Orchestra (box
set), Ryan Adams, The Calling, Korn, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy,
Los Lobos, Carly Simon, Jackie Greene, Ozomatli, Euge Groove
and Bette Midler. Many of the albums he has worked on have
gone on to win various Grammys and/or TEC Awards. In 2002,
Robert received a TEC Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement
for his work on Diana Krall "The Look Of Love" in the Best
Record Production/Album category. That album also won a Grammy
for Best Engineered Album the same year. Dance, Hip-Hop and
Alternative are among his specialties. Robert was nominated
for a Grammy in the Album Of The Year category for the 2002
Grammys for his work on the Dixie Chicks "Home" album.
2005 was a real exciting year for Robert he received two
Grammy awards for his wonderful work on Ray Charles "Genius
Love's Company" The first Grammy was for the best surround
album.The second Grammy was for album of the year. He also
won a tech award in 2005 for the same album in the record
production album category. In 2006 he received his fourth
Grammy notation in the surround sound category for Diana Krall's
"The Girl In The Other Room". Another notable moment so far
in 2006 was mastering Barry Manilow's Greatest Songs Of The
50's. This album debuted at number one on the billboard 200
chart.
